Why is the right size so important?
For optimal protection, a Suitical product should fit like a second skin. A size that is too large can create openings, allowing dogs and cats to scratch or lick sensitive areas, while also increasing the risk of dirt and bacteria reaching the wound. On the other hand, a fit that is too small can be uncomfortable, cause breathing difficulties, and lead to chafing around the legs and neck.
To prevent these issues, we're happy to help you find the perfect size. Follow these steps to ensure your loyal companion gets the best care possible!

The Recovery Suit®
The Recovery Suit® should fit like a second skin—not too tight, but definitely not too loose! You want to ensure that your dog or cat cannot reach sensitive areas due to an oversized fit.
Measure your pet from the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail to determine the right size.

The Recovery Sleeve®(s)
First, measure the area (1.) around the widest part of the chest, usually just behind the front legs, and (2.) the length of the front leg, measured from the inside.

The DRY® Cooling Vest
(1.) Measure the chest just behind the front legs at its widest point. (2.) Next, measure the neck circumference, ideally around the area where the collar sits. When measuring the neck, leave enough space for two fingers. (3.) Lastly, measure your dog’s length from the neck at the collar to the base of the tail.

Determine the right size
By comparing your measurements with the size chart, you can easily choose the correct size and avoid fitting issues. This ensures the product is not only comfortable but also provides optimal protection.
Always choose a size that fits snugly—neither too tight nor too loose! When selecting the right size, also consider the following:
Very slim dogs/cats
Robust or muscular dogs/cats
Coat type: short-haired or long-haired
