General washing and care tips

Close all snap buttons
Prevents stretching and fabric damage.
Wash inside out
Helps maintain quality and hygiene.
Use a fragrance-free and hypoallergenic detergent
Avoids skin irritation for your pet.
No bleach or harsh chemicals
Can damage the fabric and irritate skin or wounds.
Use a laundry bag
Prevents fabric fibers from becoming rough.
DO NOT tumble dry
Heat can affect elasticity and fit.
Wash with similar colors
Prevents discoloration by separating colors.

Recovery Suit® for Dogs and Cats

The Recovery Suit® acts as a second skin for your pet during recovery. But like any wearable fabric, it needs occasional washing to stay fresh and hygienic.

✔ Wash at a maximum of 90ºC/194ºF
✔ Use a laundry bag to prevent the fabric from becoming rough.
❌ Do not tumble dry – let it air dry.

Extra tip: Consider having a second Recovery Suit® for your pet, so there’s always a clean one available while washing!

Recovery Sleeve® (Single and Double)

The Recovery Sleeve® provides extra support and protection, requiring special care during washing. Since the sleeves contain Velcro, proper maintenance is essential to ensure long-lasting durability.

✔ Wash at a maximum of 90ºC/194ºF.
✔ Use a laundry bag to prevent fabric roughness and to keep the Velcro from collecting lint.
❌ Do not tumble dry – let it air dry.

Extra tip: Just like with the Recovery Suit®, having an extra Recovery Sleeve® ensures your dog is never left unprotected.

DRY® Cooling Vest

Hot weather? No problem! The DRY® Cooling Vest is a lifesaver on warm summer days, but like any cooling system, it requires proper care.

✔ Wash at a maximum of 40ºC/104ºF.
✔ Close the fill cap before washing to prevent leakage.
✔ Use a laundry bag to keep the fabric flexible, extend its lifespan, and prevent damage from contact with other laundry.
❌ Do not tumble dry – let it air dry.

1. Quick Prep Before Washing

A little preparation ensures the best wash results:

Remove as much hair, mud, and sand as possible, or shake the product out before washing.
Close all buckles, snap buttons, and Velcro fastenings to prevent wear and tear.
Loosen drawstrings on the DRY® Cooling Vest to ensure a thorough wash.

2. Preventing Odor Build-Up

Pet clothing and accessories can develop an unpleasant smell over time—not just from mud or dirt but also from the natural oils in your pet’s coat. Regular washing helps keep odors away, but here are some extra tips to keep your Suitical products fresh:

Wash and dry seasonal products before storing them, even if they don’t look dirty. This prevents musty odors and keeps them ready for use next season.
Air out products thoroughly after washing, ensuring they are completely dry before storage or use.
